This was probably the first Nora Roberts book that i've read. This summer i saw some tv-movies of hers so i thought this book could be similar to them and worth reading. Now, i'm not saying it wasn't worth reading but it kind of fall short.
The aspect that i'm very keen on crime / detective novels is the undpredictable endings. I really thought this would have it, but it really didn't happen. The first half of the book was very thrilling and it kept me to keep reading. And yes, there's some cute lovestory going on as well and very nice Italian-themed vibe going on, but for the mainstory, i kind of felt fooled. The book had so many places and ways where it could have gone, but it didn't.. Kind of sad. It had potential but didn't reach up for it.
